Most people would cherish the fact if they were to be remembered after their death for any cause. Establishing oneself to this level is not a cake walk for anyone. Farrah Fawcett’s is one such remembered face who has embarked her way as a gorgeous poster girl.

Her poster had her in a one-piece bathing suit, her head twisted backward, and the golden locks falling on her gorgeous face. This poster received a severe blow as if it was a big mistake being admired by millions of people across the world.

However, this poster proved to be a blessing in disguise for her. It helped her to kick start her way to stardom.  The poster coincided with her debut on the television series “Charlie’s Angels.” The first impression was that she could merely pose and look spectacular. However, she changed all negative opinions by her magnificent performance in a movie based on the book, “The Burning Bed”.

Now she was an actress with a gorgeous figure and attractive looks along with immense talent. She appeared in a movie called “Extremities” which was based on the play by William Mastrosimone, involving a woman taking revenge on a man who attempts to rape her.

Admits, all of her photo shoot and movies, there were news of her getting married to actor Lee Majors, and then her romance with Ryan O’Neal.

Many Hollywood celebrities have come and gone, but very few of them have been able to have such a career chasm to overcome, and to win over the critics.

She had her share of lows as well. Her infamous appearance on “Late Night With David Letterman” wasn’t taken well by the masses. Some claimed that she was also on drugs.

Later in the year 2006, she was diagnosed with cancer. Now, she was a celebrity in danger of leaving the planet.

She was a stunning lady who represented a time of light-hearted enjoyment. She was the undisputed queen in the 70’s and 80’s for a long time.

At age 62, Farrah Fawcett paved goodbye to the world after fighting hard against the life threatening disease. She is always being remembered as someone overwhelmed by the dark side of fame, but had the will power to turn things around with sheer talent and hard work.

Is Pirate Eye a Promising Movie?

Pirate Eye, a Korean movie unleashes drug scandals, murder and sexual racket of the 19th century. Park Dae-min shows great promise as an upcoming director with this movie. In terms of entertainment, the movie surpasses most expectations making it commercially workable in Asian market.

The movie features a medical student called Gwang-soo (Ryu Deok-hwan) who encounters a bloodied corpse by accident. This student is an ambitious young guy who doesn’t spare a bloodied corpse to attain his professional ambitions. He decides to take the corpse home in order to study it, only to discover that the corpse belongs to the dead son of one of the most powerful government official. This is where the problem starts. While placing the corpse back to its original place, he encounters another blooded corpse in that place. Eventually, he takes help from a private detective. Despite earlier hesitation, the detective agrees to take his case, in order to clear him off the murder charges.

Hong Jin-ho (Hwang Jang-min) plays the role of the detective in this movie. He is left with the responsibility of finding the real criminal before the police lay their hands on this medical student.

Hong Jin-ho lands up in different places and meets several people to uncover the truth. How the murder mystery is solved is an eventful journey which this movie pictures.

A magic show, knife throwing stunts and a trapeze act are nicely featured in this movie. Pirate Eye has a flavor in it, and is certainly a watchable movie.

Prince of Tears: A Movie on Taiwan’s History

The movie, Prince of Tears is a tale of personal betrayal. The movie includes some pretty faces along with magnificent landscapes which are worth a steal.

Prince of Tears features Joseph Chang and Zhu Xuan, who play the role of a flawless couple named Sun-Han and Ping. They have two beautiful infant daughters. Their daughters attend a pilot school for children headed by Sun-Han, who is a pilot by profession.

The girls past time is reading a book titled “The Prince of Tears”. It’s a fantasy book with a super hero. They visualize the world with their romantic eyes, especially their teacher.  The teacher is later sentenced on grounds of disloyalty.

At this point, the movie features Fan Chih-wei, who plays the character of Uncle Ding in this movie. He works for a government’s security bureau, and is a regular visitor at their house.

Madame Liu (Terry Kwan) is a glamorous twist to the movie who once knew the couple is now married to the powerful General Liu (Kenneth Tsang).

All relationships go for a toss when there is a discovery that Ping had a relationship with Ding as well as with Madame Liu. There is also a mystery factor involving the parentage of one of the two daughters. Later, Sun-Han and Ping also get arrested on grounds of treason, the internecine affair gets more heated during this period.

Yonfan did a great job in bringing forward a story with an ugly background of Taiwan’s history, but the real facts is not yet fully unleashed, and the film maintains its focus on the very handsome players.

Considering the likings of Asian audience this melodrama movie might prove to be a great package of entertainment for the audience

Chris Brown: Ready for Counseling after the Assault on Rihanna

Everyone had their share of dismay when the first news of Chris Brown’s assault on Rihanna hit the Hollywood industry. Most Hollywood movie stars thought that Chris Brown had done the unthinkable. Rihanna had suffered visible facial injuries due to the assault.

Chris plea’s seems to have fallen on deaf ears with all the sympathy turning towards Rihanna. Left with no option, the Hollywood celebrity agrees to the recent sentencing which included 6 long months of community labor along with a probation period of 5 years. It’s reported that this 20 year old celebrity is looking to make the most of the counseling session. Chris Brown is reported to have hired the same lawyer who worked on Michael Jackson’s child molestation case.

Expressing his inability to control his emotions, Chris Brown is open for positive criticisms, which follows in the counseling session. The singer is reported to have already taken some domestic violence program in the hope of an improved beginning.

Chris Brown seemed optimistic in his interview claiming that he was indeed ashamed about the whole act, and would like to talk to out a counselor, to avoid such situations in future. Admitting that his anger took over the whole situation, the celebrity hopes that after the counseling he will be able to channelize his anger into something more productive like dancing etc. Both pop stars have cancelled their appearance in the coming Grammy award.

At the moment, the whole ordeal seems to have temporarily shattered the world of two rising young celebrities.

Movie Career of Ryan Phillippe

Commencing his career with a soap opera,”One Life to Live”, this American actor has made his presence left in Hollywood. His humble beginning did not stop him for attaining the celebrity status in Hollywood.

He has starred in dozens of movies so far, and continues to hold the audience to their seats with his acting abilities. Off late, Ryan Phillippe has also ventured into movie production. Let’s have a look at the movie graph of this celebrity.

He started off with two movies, Crimson Tide and White Squall in 1995 and 1996 respectively. These films didn’t contribute much to his early career.

Later, he starred in a teen oriented horror film, “I Know What You Did Last Summer” in 1997 which turned out to be a huge hit amongst the audience. This success paved his entry to many high profile Hollywood films which included Cruel Intentions, Crash, 54 and Flags of Our Fathers.

He also won Oscar awards for two of his films, Igby Goes Down and Crash.

Ryan Phillippe has been able to impress his fans as well as his critics with his strong performance in most of his movies. An American actor, Ryan Phillippe has it all what it takes to be a future superstar. Born on September 10, 1974, Ryan started his career with opera soaps, and hit to fame in the 90’s after appearing in well known movies like “I Know What You Did Last Summer”, “54” and “Cruel Intentions”.

His early interests were basketball and soccer. He also holds a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. His passion for acting started at an early age of 15, after being encouraged by few of his neighbors. His dream materialized when he was spotted by a casting agent who starting sending this future Hollywood celebrity to auditions in New York.

He started working as a waiter for about a year or two before embarking his way in the Hollywood industry. The movie, “I Know What You Did Last Summer” was a huge success, and opened the floodgates for his blossoming career in Hollywood movies.

In the following years after the initial success of his movies, Ryan Phillippe appeared in many more movies. Admits this he got married to Reese Witherspoon (actress) on June 5, 1999.  However, the marriage was a short lived relationship which lasted for about 7 years. The couple filed for divorce later in the year 2006 on issues of incompatibility. The one time couples now share a joint custody of both their children.

His award winning performance came from two of his films, Igby Goes Down (2002) and Crash (2005). These days, he is being actively involved in film production. Ryan is currently dating an Australian actress named Abbie Cornish whom he met 3 years back while shooting for a movie.
